Surfing the Net
Three different ways to go to a web page
1) Type a web address in the location
box
Click
your mouse in the location box.
remember that the above is just an illustration
and will not function like the toolbar on the top of your screen.
When the white box turns blue, just type in
the web address and hit the enter key.

****Remember that you don't have to type the
http:// part of the address. So for this address, http://www.ryter.com/internet1.htm,
all you would have to type is: www.ryter.com/internet1.htm.
2) Click on a book mark
Click your mouse on the bookmark portion of the
toolbar.

Highlight the page you want to go to and click
the mouse.
3) Click a link
Click your mouse on a link and it will take you
to a new web page or to a different place on the web page that you are
viewing. A link will frequently be a different color than the text
around it and underlined. Your cursor will change into a hand when
you pass over a link.
